Nature Class

Recognizing the importance of the environment for our times, the School organizes two to three Nature Classes for each standard of students every week. In this they learn about all aspects of our environment, the challenges facing us today, and the way towards a sustainable future. Theory classes are supplemented by practical lessons, where the compound of Kanker Palace, the green zone and lungs of the city, comes in very handy. The flora and birds of the Palace are rich resource where the children learn about the structure and characteristics of plants and birds, about the lay of the land and natural phenomena, the ills threatening the fragile balance of the web of life, and creative solutions to these problems.
